Benefit show for Jeff Madewell at the Brig in Troy on Jan. 23rd @ 7pm. Live music featuring acoustic sets in the front room from Paul David Bach and Miss H, Brothers in Arms, and Buff Francis. Full bands in the back room featuring Bad Neighborz, The Drive, and See Alice Jones. Tons of raffles including a flat screen TV, a guitar and amp, a Higgins/Madewell show, and tons of gift baskets and gift certificates, too many to mention. The cost is $10 at the door and all of the proceeds from the door charge and the raffles will be donated to the Madewell family to offset some of the costs associated with cancer treatments and procedures.
Jeff was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in Feb of 2009. The disease has progressed and he is currently undergoing chemotherapy to prepare for a life-saving bone marrow transplant.
